RESUME SEARCH
The OFCCP has specific rules regarding how an employer must search an external resume database in the search for qualified & interested candidates. When searching an external database, an employer must keep a record of the position for which each search of the database was made, and corresponding to each search, the substantive search criteria used, the date of the search, and the resumes of any job seekers who meet the Basic Qualifications for the particular position who are considered by the employer. These records must be maintained regardless of whether the individual qualifies as an Internet Applicant.
Resume Search & Screen
The employer will communicate with one of our consultants on forming the Basic Qualifications of the position, and the consultant will search the major online resume databases, including Monster, Careerbuilder, & Yahoo!Hotjobs. Screenshots will be made of each search & the search criteria used. Candidates who meet the employer's Basic Qualifications, and live within a 45 minute commute & are open to the position's salary range are indentified, and each resume is sent to the employer for review. Employers can then invite specific candidate's to apply to the employer's job post, making the candidate an Internet Applicant and subject to further documentation in the Applicant Log.
